Dive into the fascinating world of bees with our beekeeper Julie from The Bees Knees Apiary. The event will teach guests about how bees communicate with each other through dancing, how bees turn nectar from flowers into honey and the importance of bees for sustaining life on earth. Participants will be able to observe an observation hive in a safe environment to see how bees interact and move within the hive.
What to expect:
Learn fun honeybee facts, common myths and misconceptions, and be introduced to the different hive members (the female bees, male bees and Queen bee)
Sample a variety of different The Bees Knees Apiary products
Explore the Flower Bar stocked with a wide variety of fresh blooms straight from our flower fields and create a take-home memento of your time on the flower farm
